- Read to yourself; Read to someone younger than you; Ask someone to read to you!
- Pick one thing that you like in art, music, sports or theatre and get really, really good at it.
- Find a topic that you like in math, science, writing or social studies, and learn all you can!
- Challenge yourself! Be the first in your family to graduate from high school. Graduate with college credits.
- No matter what grade you are in, ask your teacher, principal or counselor about what you should do to go to college.
- Talk to everyone you know about graduating.
- If you get homework from your teacher, DO IT!
- Know at least two languages by reading, writing, listening and speaking with native language speakers.
